This week we had a greatly improved effort against Laguna Hills High School in our important dual meet on 4/22/10 at our track at Beckman. I thought that everyone stepped up well in their mental and physical efforts to do the best that they can and to represent our Beckman Track & Field team well. The final scores were:

We had one big league meet against University High School on Thursday, 4/15/10, at their track. Congratulations especially to our Boys Varsity team for a strong victory. Everyone pitched in for the win, but the field events had a field day. The Girls Varsity and lower levels also had some very good efforts. The final scores are as follows:

We participated in two excellent meets this past week.

On Thursday, 3/4/10, we had a dual meet against Woodbridge on our beautiful home track. The total results and scores of the meet are on our web site (http://www.gopatriotsrunning.com/). This was a practice meet and we did not keep any official team scores.

TIME TRIALS

Due to the really hard rains and threat of thunder and lightning we had to cancel this year's Time Trials. We will move straight into our dual meet with Woodbridge this Thursday. The coaching staff will pick the Varsity athletes for the meet.

Our track season is underway already and time trials are on February 27th at 9:00 am at Beckman High School.  View the Track Schedule and download the Track and Field Registration Form and Track Spirit Wear Form for the upcoming track season.  The forms need to be returned no later that March 5th.

** NOTE **  His prestigious Summer Track Camp runs for two days, Saturday and Sunday, July 11th and 12th. 

ROAD TRIP!!!!!!!
 

"Congratulations to Brendon Birdsell for qualifying for the prestigious Track & Field State Meet at Buchanan High School in Clovis this next Friday and Saturday by finishing 5th overall in the Boys Discus Throw with a fine throw of 168' 10". This is the first time a Beckman Track & Field athlete has qualified for the State Meet. Brendon has thrown 180' 8" this season and we look for some huge results at the big one coming up. When you see him on campus give him a huge congratulations and good luck."
